Hi all! Dunno wether this is the correct forum, so feel free to move it.
So i got this new bike, wich is awesome, but it dont like the looks; so i thought id spray paint it.
But what pattern and colors?
If you have any idea (pleeze, no multicam, digital, 6-color-desert...), send me or post a pic.
Thanks a lot!

Hahaha yes. Airsoft re-enactment bike.
I'd personally go with tan for my own, but it'll rub off. Tan is my favorite color if I ever really gave a crap about having a favorite friggin' color.
Whatever you do, make sure the paint you use is oil resistant and all that. I'm sure you know that already though.

Use OD/TAN/BROWN
Give the entire bike a nice OD coat and then go nuts with random splashes of the other colors.
Or you could go the other way, TAN coat and splash the other colors and then you have 3color desert

Because he doesn't like the current color..
I say you just give it a plain OD Green color.. Or a plain Tan color..
That would look sick..

Hmm I never thought of painting my Bike. OD would look really good IMO.
How could you get the pait to come out matte? Also what brand would stick well to the metal of the bike?

Me and my friends are advid bmx riders and we paint our bikes often, Before you paint anything
1. Remove Decals
2. Sand the bike down to its primer coat
3. Give it another primer coat
Then paint away :)
And usually any big Store like walmart Etc should have Matte camoflauge spray paint

You might lose your bike in the wilderness if you camouflage it.

Keep it simple - a slightly orange-tinged tan base overlayed with a dark olive-grey would look nice. Make sure the grey streaks have that sprayed-on look with faded edges. Two colours is probably enough to make a fashion statement.

If you really want a new color that stays on the bike and doesnt chip off after two weeks:
1. Strip the frame of all decals and parts
2. Give the frame to a workshop and let them powder coat it in OD or tan
3. apply further camo by using sparse black, brown and OD/tan stickers.

Hey Chas ol' mate,
I reckon Auscam is the way to go, but then again I'm biased. It involves five colours but I still reckon it looks cool. Paint it with a tan base, then add splotches of light brown, dark brown, light green and dark green. Another one I like is the camo they put on some of the remington rifles, I think it is called mossy oak. My mate has a 22-250 factory painted and it looks pretty good! Tiger stripes from the Vietnam era look good as well.....OD green with black streaks.
