I'd be inclined to say no, since before the end of the Second World War, there had been Memphis Belle, Memphis Belle II, and Memphis Belle III...

It seems it wasn't the original memphis belle

I just realized that Memphis Belle III is quite possibly a B-52H too...but I had always thought the original one was in Dayton at the USAF museum...who knows, I'm sticking with my guess that this was a look-a-like...

While that B17 bares the right color girl on the nose (blue on the port side, red on the starboard side) and the correct tailcode (124485) and correct fusalague code (DF*A) and lacks the small nav dome on the top of the nose common to the earlier F models, the "REAL" Memphis Belle is in no other place than Memphis Tennessee awaiting restoration. Also...the real MB had two more .50s in the plexiglass nose-cone in ball mounts in addition to the two "cheek" mounts. ;)

AFAIK- MBIII was an F105 in Vietnam.
