yeah but chances are, the bullets will hit his hat, and he will live

its to confuse the enemy too. You know when you take a stick and move the hat out of the window, the Chechens will think there is a cowboy there, and not a Russian soldier.

Three electricity towers were blasted by unknown assailants 1.5 miles from Moscow on March 15. Law enforcement officers found an unexploded fourth device at another tower, a source in the Moscow city police told Stratfor. Chechen militants are suspected of planting the explosives. On Feb. 19, there was an explosion on the gas pipeline near Moscow for which Chechen warlord Shamil Basayev took responsibility, saying it was aimed at disrupting Moscow's gas supply.

Goddammit, I hate this pic. He looks stupid with the hat. There are many bad "pose" pics but this one beats them (if we dont count softair).
