This was an interesting submachine gun, but it was unsuccessful and seems not to have been adopted by any authorites; the semiautomatic version did not reach a production figure of more than 2,000.
The company offered it for almost ten years yet they apparently couldn't sell it. But why? What was wrong with it? Was it unreliable? Expensive? Badly made? Would someone know? Thanks!

Cheers

It hasn't been adopted by our authorites because they already had the Beretta M12; also Beretta has always been favoured over other small italian companies.
the M4 was a cool SMG but it wasn't nothing new. just one more SMG on the market.

as for the civilian version, I find a semiauto SMG quite useless.

It was also very unusual in that it was in fact a double action SMG, that could be carried with the hammer down and a round in the chamber.

Sure, but there are more customers than just the Italians -- you'd think someone would have adopted it, if it was any good.

What about claims that some Italian police forces adopted the PPC version (semi with suppressor)?
