A friend of mine, Staff Sergeant Clint Ferrin, an 82nd paratrooper was KIA in Iraq last weekend. His brother, SPC Jon Ferrin was my childhood best friend.

I've lost 3 friends to Iraq myself. It's always sad to hear that another brother of the silk has fallen. Jack you have my sympathy for the loss of your friend. When i was in Afghan i used to recite this passage I saw on a memorial at Ft. Bragg to help get me through things. "Also i heard the voice of the lord saying, whom shall I send? who shall go for us? Then said I, here am I, send me" Isaiah 6:8
