About 3mths ago there was a book that was promoted in the Sun newspaper, it was about an operation against the Taliban in Afghanistan when a squadron of the SAS was used to attack a joint al-Qa'eda/ Taliban camp.
I asked my Mum(only on sale in the UK) to purchase it for me but she forgot, I've since forgotten the title and I'm deperate to find out what it was called, any help would be much apreciated.

I think I remember on the front cover, it's a desert with a sunset in the background?

I checked "Condition Zero" and it came up with the game Counter Strike, thanks for the help, any more ideas?

Haven't read it myself yet. But as the MoD tried to ban it, if it was fairy tale crap, I don't think they would had bothered.

Yes but didn't the MOD make a big fuss about B20 when that was released?

Not that I'm aware of, I would had only been 5 at the time. I do know that the MoD did try to ban the other Andy McNab book called Immediate Action.

No fairy tale,I found it to be a very good book, also from Coburns story, the cover story about being a CSAR team/COP team( according to MacNabb and Ryan)did not wash with the Iraqi's who knew they were SAS,there's an excerpt where a RG/SF officer tells him he was a "special Commando"....just like him....or something along those lines, but my interpretation was that the Iraqis were fully aware they had caught British Special Forces!!
