Hydrogen & Oxygen are excellent sources of energy.....and there's TONS of it around.

I think seperating them from H2O uses more energy than you recieve.....

isnt that correct?

Sounds promising but I'd like to know more about it - specifically how much outside power it requires to perform the hydrolysis.

He still needs a big load of electricity for it to run.

Once we master fusion and this "Water-fuel" stuff. Those pesky enviormentalists can finally shut it about Global Warming.

I remember reading at one point one of the major issues with using water as fuel is that it requires a massive spark. I can't remember the exact details but the spark is best created when passed between two pieces of Platinum. Since platinum is so expensive, the cost of a fleet of water fueled vehicles would be pretty high.

The interesting part is whether, can you reverse the process and use fuel as water. I'd like to have some diesel cubes in my freezer, for those days where you want to spice up your JD.
