WWII commander charged with 164 murders

(10:08) The former commander of a German army unit has been charged with the murder of 164 people in the final months of the Second World War.

Prosecutors in Munich accuse Ladislav Niznansky, who is now 86, of ordering the killings in three villages in present-day Slovakia.

In early 1945 Niznansky was head of a Slovakian Nazi unit hunting for resistance fighters.

He was arrested two months ago after a joint investigation by German, Czech and Slovakian officials.

I think more germans are concerned with calling Bush "Hitler" than to be interested in their past.
