I know that picture. Its a danish F104G shot down in southern Cambodia during the Vietnam war. It was hit by a chinese-made sling-shot missile during secret recce ops looking for the lost trail.

Great picture indeed. Too bad it was partialy spoiled by the smoke from that explosion on the back.

The landscape doesn't look Cambodian... I had no idea that Denmark played a part in that conflict!

Did the pilot survived? I meant no disrespect with my other post...

I thought it was Chief Geronimo's special operations braves making smoke signals to warn Admiral Yamamoto that General Custer's panzer divisions were approaching San Juan Hill by the south ?

Don't be ridiculous! General Custer's panzer divisions were already defeated at the time by Alexander's Airborne Phalanx, in the Battle of Austerlitz!

nope, once again you got it all wrong - the bbq went fine, the problems came AFTER the bbq and were diagnosed as a bad case of gas. of course one of them f#$@# had to flick his zippo and give everybpdy a show...
