I wanna watch the Czech Republic vs USA on June 12th and Czech Republic vs Italy on June 22. I live in the US and the only way I know is to watch on ESPN2. I don't have it nor do I want to upgrade my already expensive cable for 2 matches. Anyone else know where to watch it either on TV or on the Internet? Free is better but a small one time fee may be needed. Thanks in advance.

Go to a bar. They should be showing some of it.

Bars around here don't play "soccer". I don't get Canadian TV here and I won't be in Germany until July. Any other ideas?

I'm gonna be watching what I can on ABC in the mornings, since that's all I get. :(

You could always suck off the cable guy.
Thats what memphiz did when he wanted to watch reruns of All In The Family on Nick At Night.

ESPN2 is part of basic cable here. Even to upgrade and get the sports tier its only an extra 5 bucks a month. Just upgrade for a couple of months.

Are there likely to be any dodgy net sites that will feed the games live?

I watched a Liverpool CL game on one of them this year. Maybe it was a bad site, bit the quality was appaling. Couldnt stand to even watch it.

What time are they gonna be shown there? They will be at 5pm and 8pm ish here, so no real time problems...

Some games start as early as 1500 (3pm), some at 2100 (9pm). Most in between. (CET of course)

To the americans, go to bars/pubs. I'm pretty sure there will be some who show games. Don't compare world cup games to regular european games. I think i read it will be much more widespread this time.

I will be in Cologne when england plays sweden there. There's a big public screening with expected tenths of thousands of english and swedes who don't have tickets. That'll be fun. I don't expect trouble there. At least from those two parties. But it will be a giant binge drinking...
