I would like to know what experiences you have with emergency Rations?
Im not asking for MRE or EPA like Stuff but those compact stuff.

The "new" Swedish emergency ration.
As long as you have plenty of water it is ok.

RAF emergency flying rations:

Genuine RAF issue Aircrew ration. Supplied in correct, sealed aluminium 2 part case that doubles as mess tins. Contains: 2 packs of 'Flavoured Food Bar' (min 24 hours each), 1 beverage pack of tea, coffee and milk powder, 2 sugar packs, 1 pack Beef Stock Cubes. Full written instructions and advice. Complete with 4 hangers for cooking with tins over an open fire. Tins measure 13 x 10 x 4.5cm and 13 x 10 x 5.5cm, capacity of 3/4 pint. Total package measures 13 x 10 x 8cm, weighs 600g.
My opinions, not too heavy, shiny box, never ate any. Good bergen ballast!

You can eat it with out water but you gone fart and burp allot p-)
The mainstay bars taste like coconut. A Lybian friend said it reminded her of Lybian cookies. Not bad, I keep a few bars for emergencies. Would hate to eat them for more than a week though...
