As far as I'm aware these haven't been posted before, however I think I've stumbled on one or two of them.
Not bad mate. :D
Cool picks. Absolutely love Aussies and the SASR. My aunts an Aussie and Im going over there to visit again this summer. Cant waite!!! For some reason Aussia women have a huge thing for American accents. Who woulda thought but last time I was over there every time I opened my mouth in a bar and people realized I was American all the girls in the place came over to chat me up.......
Kinda like a British bloke in America. He could be the dumbest twig on earth but his British accent would save the day with the ladies.........
Anyway to get to the topic at hand, whats the deal with that camo pattern? It looks like puke on polka dots if you ask me..........nice weapons though. Love the long scope on an M4. Real Real stylin if you know what I mean.

That webbing looks brand new, and un-used. Normally the fastex buckles get heaps of scratches on them.

but how can you hear anything then? You can't even hear your CO screaming the orders at you? I though orgianlly it was a comms system but its wayy to big for that.

Ear protection (Peltor Comtac or some sort) not ear muffs. They're on a firing range. There are several other photos that show these same guys sorting and firing at targets.

It's an active noise reduction headset.

Well actually I'm pretty sure some operators acutally use active noise reduction headsets when in combat. Some of them actually reduce the sound of loud noises and make quieter sounds louder. Which can be useful

Gotta love the SF with their Jesus Christ beards...
I wore a beard once, and now i cant stand having anything more than a tiny bit of fuzz under my chin.

Maybe the photo was taken on the 25th of April which for those who are unaware is known as ANZAC day in Australasia.
The date on which we remember casualties sustained by our countries, in conflict, throughout our respective histories.
25th of April 1915 is the day the first ANZAC troops landed at ANZAC cove on the Gallipoli peninsula.

Bingo........glad someone pays attention and has their mind out of the gutter.
This photo was used with others in the ARMY Newspaper for ANZAC commemeration articles, taken during overseas units ANZAC ceremonies.
