couple of pictures comes to my mind when looking on this pics from prague:

"normal" cops (not special forces) in slovakia use Skorpion SMG as a standard issue SMG. Do the czechs have MP5 as a standard SMG or are all these guys from URNA and other SF?? If yes - why are they showing faces?? Isnt their identity classified?? And finally: are some of these portrayted guys too old for SF?? Whats the average age of specops LEOs??

I think they're from SPJ.

As for the age in SF, you can do the work also in your fifties, if you're able to cope with the physical tests.

you are right, URNA has already used G-36 some time, but I bet only to 2010/11, up to the new ČZ-805 coming:-)))

policeman is in good physical condition, he is waiting for medical results from examination of his sample blood (because HIV threat).
He serves in emergency motorized unit.

Prague, March 29 (CTK) - A Czech elite policeman killed two armed men who attacked him in Liberia and he himself suffered slash wounds, daily Mlada fronta Dnes (MfD) wrote Saturday referring to a well-informed source. The Czech Police Presidium has only confirmed that the man was attacked.
"It happened on March 22 at about a quarter past ten in the evening. The policeman saw a local man who was indicating he needs help. When he stopped and got out of his car to help the injured man, a group of people attacked him with machetes. Though the policeman was not armed, he managed to defend himself and left the site of the incident," deputy police president Jiri Houba told MfD.
He did not confirm the death of the two bandits.the
According to MfD's trustworthy source, the group of attackers probably hid the corpses so that they might not be identified.
The 30-year-old policeman who is in Liberia on a year-long U.S. peacekeeping mission was not armed because the mission rules do not allow it, according to MfD information.
The man is, however, a martial arts master and he is trained to kill without a weapon.
Houba said the Czech man's condition did not require hospitalisation, and that he is in order and continues carrying out his mission duties.
The unarmed police mission in Liberia helps stabilise the situation in the country after the civil war that claimed 150,000 lives.
Five Czechs participate in the mission. MfD writes that the number will be changing these days, however.
Czech consul Ondrej Soukup in Ghana also survived a machete attack a few days ago and he is in order after he saw a doctor. He was one of three employees of the Czech embassy whose car was attacked by two armed robbers.

I am looking for photos and information on URNA in the late 1980's, specifically one of the weapons they used then. I need photos and any information on the RV85 launcher (Rucni Vrhac vz 85), for an article I am working on. The RV85 was a special tear gas rifle in the URNA's weapons inventory in the late 1980's. Thank you for your reply. Google and I are old friends. Not much information there, I have already gathered what there is. I need production figures and hopefully photos or video of the RV 85 in use. The factory (BRNO) no longer has records. Cokl, Thanks for the video link. I have also found several more about past interventions, but so far, I have not been able to find the RV 85 in use.
