The XI Corps of the Pakistan Army is moving in troops to the Wana area and taking control of the operation from the Frontier Corps. Think of the Frontier Corps as national Guardsmen. These individuals are from the region of Waziristan and not on par with the Regular Army. Soon, 11, 000 Pakistani troops will be smahing the AQ and tribal fighters into Afghanistan and the awaiting US forces.

My one concern is the displaced persons, estimated to be 15,000-20,000, to move away from the fighting. Will they move into Afghanistan or disperse back into the pakistani interior?
