Police used force to disperse illegal students manifestation. Cops arrested 18 peoples including 10 underaged. It is another protest aginst current head of education ministry Roman Giertych it was organised by Students Initiative. Protetsters demanded meeting with Giertych. Security refused to let them in and locked ministry gates. Few dozens of peoples were already occupied courtyard. They burned Giertych doll and put a sign on gate saying. "Repressions will not stop us." Not long after Police arrived at scene, informed that manifestation is illegal and proceed to remove protesters in courtyard by force. They were removed without serious resistance. Students chanted "This is your democracy." when police was removing them.
Roman Giertych said that ministry is ready to talk with any youth movment that is not connected to SLD, campagin aginst homophobia, promoting anarchism in any way or making protests aginst him. He also added that Students Initiative supported manifestation for marihuana legalisation not long ago.
Students Initiative also sent manifest for students to not go to school today as a sign of protest. Jurnalists visited some of schools. Headmasters said that kids are at school but empty corridors seems to say otherwise. Students themself say its because its almost end of school year but they support protests aginst Giertych.
Estimated number of protesters is 100-300 peoples. Propably closer to 300 because around 50 decided to stay after Police infromed them that manifestation is illegal. Not icluding peoples occuping courtyard. Starting amount was lower but peoples on street started to join protesters.
