You've got about 200 more horsepower to go before you can match that M5 buddy :)
And what Corvette was this, some ghetto blaster from the late 70's?

Any car will wax that M5 for you, if you have the satisfaction of having worked for it and paid for it with money you have earned!
How can you ever value anything with a toy like that as a gift - what do you get next, your own Lear Jet?

Hey,
I had a M5 with the exactly same color 3 weeks ago for a weekend, and I wasn't too impresed.
Its very hushed, and the SMG is too uncomfortable for a comfort-limousine. If I wanted to buy a luxury-limousine with alot of power I would definitely pick a AMG, but the M5 is more of a ... Freak.
However the 500 hp are amazing, and make it very easy to make little drifts.

If you're going to BS that you got a nice car, don't make part of the BS story that mommy and daddy bought it for you.
You may as well take a pic of you in your "new car" with your mommy riding shotgun. Now that's cool.

Honesty, everyone who makes over 30K a year here owns a BMW. If you want class, you buy a Cadillac or Benz or something.

I notice that too. My daughter has a friend (they're both 12) who's parents just bought her the top of the line iPod & a Razor phone. At 12. I ask you, where the hell do you have to go, when you have such toys at 12, and without accomplishing anything to get them? Not that there's anything wrong with being so ostentatious, but it certainly has to affect one's development as a human being when things come so easily.
