Yea, in all honestly, they don't add moderators very often here, and if they feel you're right for the job, they'll contact you, I assume. I've never heard of any sort of application process for becoming a mod on mp.net

You need a bit more than 14 posts to establish a sound and mature reputation on the boards. After that show you're able to be patient, considering your age, I'd say give it a good eight years. ;)

Choosing a moderator

Different boards choose moderators in different ways. As noted, on some boards moderators are just friends of the owner. On more serious boards, administrators and senior staff generally choose moderators from among long-time, respected, level-headed members. On boards belonging to large corporations, moderators will still usually be selected from among the forum membership, but may be required to go through some form of training, sign non-disclosure agreements, or the like.
There are generally sufficient volunteers for moderator positions that it's unnecessary for even large, professional boards to pay them, but a few grant their staff small stipends. Boards with paid subscriptions may waive them for staff.

First you do some "Escape and Evasion" training now by training I mean you are blindfolded, and left in the Brecon Beacons in late November with a vague map and a compass, if you manage to escape the scores of MP.nett'ers that are scouring the woods for you ( Did I mention we have some members of the D4lta! F0rcE! here? ) then wether you are finished wether you escape or not you are subjected to interrogation training which includes the following

Spending 6 streight hours in a room with RomanS while he tells you the strongness of Mother Russia, and how western equiptment is by far inferior to the weapons of the Czar through the USSR to the Modern Federation of Russia, in which at one point he will tell you he shook Putins hand.... if you dont nodd and show some appreciation he will simply continue and this will push your mental endurance to the very limits.

Then after this you get to be insulted by Hellfish, Clete, Memphis ( if hes around ) and Evan for another 2 hours every minscule piece of nasty redicule of your manhood and ******ity will be called out.

Then ... comes the strength test .. you have to have a fist fight with Argyll, you dont have to win you just cant pussy out, you have to get up four times after he knocks you down, which is no easy feat ( I myself failed at this test that crazy Scot hits like hes built from a brick Sh*t House )


Then you are brought befor a panel, with CJ, Chops and Delta Whiskey where they will give a thumbs up or down, majority rules, they arent easy judges so any further talents ( IE dance routines, or songs you like to sing, Magic tricks ) might get you points, or might work against you its your discretion.

So my friend that is how you become a Mod
