because if they hadnt pulled the plug then the aclu would have sued all their asses off.......which would have distracted their noble work of prosecuting people who show nativity scenes during christmas or boldly defending drug addicts who get naked and try to fornicate with nativity scenes.

i'd like to see the speech and at what point it got cut off.
Regardless, I find the fact that it was in a las vegas casino amusing. Can't be talking about God in sin city! 8p

The legal point,
"District lawyer Bill Hoffman said the regulation allows students to talk about religion, but speeches can't cross into the realm of preaching."
The kid could have toned it down.

I dont think she was preaching to them just making refrences to God, like alot of people do in various speeches. I think it is just plain dumb that they pulled the plug, but we wont know whether or not she was preaching or not until we can see the whole speech.
