March Madness

I don't follow basketball...but something about NCAA basketball, especially during the tournament interests me.

All I know about college basketball is that Duke and Kentucky are common powerhouses in men's while UConn and Tennessee are the teams to beat in women's.

I looked at the women's bracket earlier and saw four schools from TN in the second round. woot Tennessee, MTSU, Vanderbilt, & UT-Chat woot

I have to say I am rooting for Texas (Hook 'em Horns) and Vandy (just cause I got some good friends over there) in the men's and Tennessee in the women's (Pat Summitt is from Cheatham County, about a 15 minute drive).

I usually get in on a pool, but this year I was in Florida when the brackets came out, so I didn't end up doing it. I don't watch basketball all that much, but I do usually watch some of the NCAA Tourney and/or the NIT. I love it when the Cinderella teams do well. I'm all about cheering for the underdog teams. woot

Almost all of my buddies started a pool(cept me) and I came into class this morining and all of them were bitching and moaning since everyones picks that were supposed to win actually lost this weekend. And I mean everyones picks.
