The weird box shaped thing on the receiver of the M60... anyone have a clue to what it is?

that looks like an eotech aim sight. but i m no expert on weapon or attachments, so u probably want a 2nd opinion :lol:

It is for attaching AN-PVS4 NV scope.

Ive seen something like that. Its supposed to darken your vision so you can better see tracers during the day. I just dont understand why they just dont use tinted goggles.
