Try this - it's the only one I've read.

Here's the entire thing in pdf:
The Bear Went Over the Mountain: Soviet Combat Tactics in Afghanistan (http://www.ndu.edu/inss/books/Books%20-%201996/Bear%20Went%20Over%20Mountain%20-%20Aug%2096/BrOrMn.pdf)
I also recommend a read of the documents at GWU's National Security Archive:
The Soviet Experience in Afghanistan: Russian Documents and Memoirs (http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB57/soviet.html)
I've had a guy recommend Afghanistan The Bear Trap (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0971170924/qid=1151088523/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/104-8645317-0104718?s=books&v=glance&n=283155), but I haven't personally read it. Appears to be a little one sided (from an Afghani perspective).
