vest for BG, which one?

It seems to me that all the guys tasked with executive protection in middle east do wear some sort of reporter vest,anyone know wich brand?

They all seems the same to me, maybe 5.11 tactical (www.511tactical.com)

yes the 5.11 is popuar.

I don't own one and frankly i would rather use a proper assault vest then somthing like that. You want to blend in? then ditch that assaultrifle for starters.

511 is popular, I still use the no name, made in China one that I was issued back in the early 90s. Still use it today instead of a carry on when flying. Their main use is to hide a pistol on your belt, If you are carrying an AR, then you might as well use a regular chest rig or something of the sort. I personaly like a combo plate carrier/assault vest.

Tropical Paradise, Yea really LOL. its been more like survivor lately. Nothing like having 11 electric towers blown up, no generator, no water, various cases of malaria and Dengue. And to top it off, NO DRINKING!

I hear they are standing up a new supersecret company over in the 3/7 area, but are having a hard time filling the slots. This "C" Company has not been seen around Bragg for many years, and for the first time, perhaps ever, no one wants orders to it. :-) Dontcha wanna come Home?

Not true. They want C co to come back to Bragg. It very well may. However all The old guys are either going back or staying. Ive been gone for a few years but the company is as good as it ever was. Just the atomosphere has changed. After all there is only one Panama! Just like General Noregia said "Panama es un fiesta!" Anyway the new 7th grp CDR and CSM were a CDR/SGM of C co when I was there and I know for a fact they dont want the company to come back to Bragg. If it does it would be a waste of talent and truely the finishing blow that would be the end of an era.
