Diemaco SFW

Is it possible to put a KAC QD Can on a Diemaco SFW? I searched the web for this information and i could not find any. I also could not find any photo's of a Diemaco SFW with a sound suppressor on it. So i began to wonder is it possible, due the different barrel profile?

The QD attaches to KAC's QD muzzle device. It doesn't slip over the barrel to any great extent IIRC. I would think there should be little issue mounting one with the SFW's profile.

The flash suppressor of the SFW looks almost identical to the KAC QD muzzle compensator, is this correct?

No, the KAC QD muzzle device is externally very close to the A2 style, but is chiseled at the front where it engages the suppressor. I believe that the SFW uses the A2 style, as do all of the other Diemaco/Colt Canada rifles IIRC.

So its possible to install the KAC QD muzzle device on the SFW.

From what I understand of the SFW profile I don't think the threading on the muzzle is non-standard, just the bulge between the muzzle and FSB.
