These are a few pics of the Island were I live, this place is great and if anyone's ever some how in my neck of the woods I'd be glad to take ya for a tour.

This is a pic of the mountains on the way to a tourist spot called Tofino, great surfing and beautifull beaches as you soon will see...(sorry for any bluryness I am taking these from inside a moving car)

As you can see even in the middle of August we still have snow around in some places :P

http://www.imageshack.us/img2/6610/DSC00897.JPG
This is a picture of our rugged coastline, very beautifull if you ask me (and even I dont say stupid **** like that)

Finally we arrive at the beaches......nice sand as far as the eye can see.
:D

As you can see theres more then enough room for everyone to have there own lil part of the beach to enjoy without the intrusion of others, so we drank beer. I polished off a case by now and was well on my way to getting drunk.

More beaches...

There comes a point were you can only drink so much beer before having to eat. We had definately passed this point, so we decided to go for some dinner. Here is the bill....to this day we are still not exactly sure what we ordered but apparently it cost alot
http://www.imageshack.us/img2/5193/DSC00938.JPG

After we got that figured out, time to head back to the beach for the sunset.
http://www.imageshack.us/img2/3478/DSC00942.JPG
There were still people surfing there when we got there, and they were there till it was pitch black and you couldn't see.

A cool lil fog rolls on onto the beach for awhile.

Where's civilization? :P

Non-esistant on this part of the island my friend...where we were we had the only stereo system in a car on that side of the island, no fast food, no 24 hour gas stations and everything was "mom and pops" owned.

K since there has been a request to get an idea of what a town looks like sorta here.....

Wow talk about a busy ass day on mainstreet...

Some of the locals rides...very cool..unique. I think it was a 68 sitting ontop of a 80's blazer frame...

WTF? No pizza deliver? No surround sound stereo system? No Wal-Mart?

For the love fo God man....tell us you at least had "female companionship"!!

Funny story...I was bored (and half drunk) walking around Tofino (the city is no bigger then 2 blocks I **** you not). I seen a Truck that was setup to fix hydro poles. The name was "BC Pole Control"(the truck in the picture)
http://www.imageshack.us/img1/7136/DSC00937.JPG

So there was my mission, it was like an omen from god. I walked around Tofino claiming to work for "BC Pole Control" asking females to help me "errect" some "poles" outside of town near the beach. Couple of ladies thought it was funny enough, so they decided to join us at the beach. :P

I live in a horrible red neck town.
Hence my lack of friends and my newly discovered cybering addiction.

i love that wood washed up on the beach, one day i want to take a whole bunch of it and make something for my house. (this is a house i don't yet own)

I want to see Canada one day, tour round the forests and mountains as well as some of the major cities. I'll add it to my list of places to see...

Wood on the beach eh? Its usually in quite good quality on the beach. It was as far as the eye can see, and also made good benches and firewood.

here ya go ;)

Wow, that's a lot of wood!
Think of all the rustic coffee tables that could be made out of that!
Or a bench outside a cottage, or a gun rack!

Its free for the taking too, I know a few people who used to go "wood salvaging" and take useable logs off the beach and take them to mills. Apparently there is some money to be made outta it, and no shortage of logs ;)

Im on Vancouver Island, its just north of Seattle. Its a pretty big island, alof of nature, women, and beers.

Im pretty sure you can take a ferry from Seattle to Victoria (the mouth southern point on the Island).
