Isn't that entrapment in that they are levied a tax on an illegal (Except for our NV bunny ranch friends) activity,thus exposing themselves to arrest and prosecution when they pay it? It's like taxing a drug smuggler for his profits...I wonder if it'll pass?

And I thought the same thing - reporting profits from a felonous activity? Would filing your taxes act as a proof of illegal activity in court? What's next, here is my W2 form for 60 lbs of hash I sold last fiscal year with additional income from robbing people at the ATM down the street...

It's a stupid bill - the expense of running PIMP business will clearely show it as a non-profit business... All of that Bling will become tax deductible :D

Well...many citys here in the US do the same thing with Marijuana.
and of course they dont expect some guy to walk in and buy his marijuana growers tax.

Here...it's so when you are caught....they can ADD charges of tax evasion and that lets them go FED on your asss and diff sentencing....
Also...breaking certain tax laws allows the Feds to take your property

So it's just a way to hit them harder when caught

True, but it's redundant. You can already have your assets seized by local/feds depending on what laws you've broken and if they can prove it's purchased from your illicit profits. If it's in your name it's theirs now. Seems more like an attention getter...
