I know this is going to sound rude and blunt but... Sh.it happens life goes on my friend. Time is probably the only thing that'll help you overcome your sorrow and grief, believe me. I've lost plenty of people that were near and dear to me. I'm a US Marine, I've been in your shoes plenty of times, man.
Shi.tty things happens to good people, man and there is nothing you, me, or anyone else can do about it. I don't mean to be a ****head, but life goes on.
Take it easy, man.
PM me if you want to talk. I'd be glad to help. If you feel like venting go right ahead, I'm all ears.

hey man, i lost one of my best friends in a car accident, and its safe to say that relying on time to heal all wounds is not going to make things better, I dont want to be too preachy or any such sh*t becuase frankley its the last thing you want to hear right now, just know that there are people who have gone through this and if you need someone impartial to it all to talk to bro, just shoot me your msn.
Peace

Losing someone close is like getting a part of yourself amputated. It will take a good while before you get rid of the phantom pains, before you understand they wont call you or come back. That they are indeed dead. Still, like childhood friends, deceased family members and old flames, though they've left your life, they'll alway be with you. You'll forget and you'll remember.
Accept my condolences.

Tough break. I've lost a few friends in the past as well and I know the feelings...I'll say a prayer for you.
In the meantime, just focus on the good times you had together and know this is not the end...of course if you believe in that kind of thing.

i lost a friend in a car accident a few years back, he was only 16, and you never forget it, but time helps heal wounds, just remember to always remember them and dont let them be forgotten, you cant bring them back so just deal with the situation the best you can, but most of all never forget.

Empathy...I know the feeling too well.
Just do what you have to do and keep him in your heart.
Wish there was something more comforting to say but yeah...
may he rest in peace and may the ones that loved him find comfort over time.
Wilco...Same to you. :)
