Very nicely done sups, was that at Pori Brigade? I did my service there with 2nd Jaeger Coy, II/1999. Nice to see you guys are using the newer RK95 rifle, we used RK62 back then. Othewise it all looks so very familiar...

No, we all missed out on Kosovo straight after the service period, went to Norway for Exercise Co-Operative Banners 2000.
I returned home to Australia and by the time offers for deployemnt came around, I had already started developing my civilian career. Some of my best friends from 1st platoon ended up in Kosovo and Eritrea, they loved it. Did two or three tours and brought tax free BMWs back home. Their deployments went pretty smoothly so it was an enjoyable experience for all, apparently.

Did I play op-for against you in Nordic Peace -99 at Niinisalo? Or was it I/99 that took part in that exercise?

I/99 were the peacekeeper force (PKF) at NP99. My coy also played opfor. Four of my buddies and I manned a 'rebel checkpoint' near Niinisalo for week one. We had a great time, planted fake mines all over the place just to see what the Danish PKF would do. It wasn't in the plan just a bright idea from us privates.
Week two we were promoted to 'Greenlander soldiers' and camped by a road somewhere near Säkylä. Twice a night some of us would march an hour to the PKF camp and fire off a few rounds to put them on alert. Those poor bast@rds got no sleep all week!

Some of the most memorable weeks of my service, and my life. I still laugh every time I remember the sh1t we used to get up to!

I don't know, but I'm pretty damn sure it wasn't Media Player Classic.

Anyone (sups) know what's going on in the picture with the dude sitting in a forest, tapping a SanLa? He's having face camo, individual camo net and a cap, so I assume Recon, though recon don't use sanla..

That pic was taken during our NIX 06 exercise in Lapland and couple our squad's was having recon training and then we set up recce platoon and did some recon missions. We use sanla in international missions so that's why we had sanla.

Great video :)

Do you have any longer footage of the heavy machine gun, which is about 50 seconds into the vid? It would be cool to see it without music....
