I've watched various movies where a person has a car that is completely bulletproof. Is it possible to have a vehicle that deflects bullets without denting the body at all (i had heard of car-armor but it was either very heavy, or used the blast-panels that displaced the force of the attackers weapon.) The heavy armor might affect the speed of the car and the ones i've seen in movies are usually quite agile.

Also, is there a type of glass that doesnt crack or even show an indent when shot? I've heard of glass that doesnt shatter, but cracks instead but not glass that could deflect bullets. Maybe the glass on humvees but not having studied this topic much, maybe you guys can help out.

I don't want to say that i believe everything in the movies, just it has come up enough to wonder if maybe it could be real.

You can see impacts on the glass. Armor like that on a V-150 or Bank type armored car is external. Low vis armored cars often have the armor under the aluminum body; in this case you will see bullet holes in the skin of the vehicle.

They often are. I don't know, it depends on what movie. SOme are more realistic than others, but a good rule is to NEVER think that real life is like a movie.

yeah, it just happens in a couple movies and i was wondering if it was a coincidence or actually possible.
