good post..similar to some of our techniques.
that stuff is fun to learn and its good to keep guys competative but in reality, you wear to much gear to do anything like that. i learned its bst to just use your extra weight to your advantage, just pretty much body check someone, they arent going to stop you, i weigh 140 pounds without my gear, 240-260 with all of it on. your average iraqi weighs about 150 pounds soaking wet, do the math, thats similar to a freight train hitting a dodson. and i'm definatel one of the smaller guys in my unit, i cant imagine the devastation that can be caused by the kid in my platoon that is 6'9" 250...

That's some complicated stuff. There are at least five easier ways to escape from the guard than that. Most of it, if not trained repeatedly, will be forgotten in the stress of an actual fight. Also, some of that is going to be way too difficult to do wearing all of your equipment, including slung weapons, vest helmet, etc.
