You may check the equipment exchange over at www.ar15.com
It's a forum, so it's just a matter of finding someone selling what you are looking for at the right time, but if you are looking for something specific you can start a WTB - want to buy thread.

I get most of my gear from sportsmansguide.com.......They sell the Modern British surplus I like but thier inventory had suffered bad lately in just about every catagory ...I think the surplus market is getting thin for EU surplus here in the states.......Chinese repro junk had taken over the scene..Even Mil-Tec of Germany has sold out and now makes a lot of thier stuff in China now. Thier quality had seriously suffered.......
Other than that Im a die hard BlackHawk fan..

Local stores...and guys I know that buy in bulk.
For example...
A just bought 29 World War II and Korean War era side latching 50 cal ammo cans. Geezah got a some, another buddy of ours got some, and I kept 15.
$4 a can...
The guy knows a guy that buys in bulk and stores the stuff on his farm.
That's the best route to go.
Try here:

It takes a lot of effort, but once you get a system down for bidding on lots and getting it to your address its a great deal...

I personally have never shopped from there, but I know about 10 people who have. Prices are usually really good, selection is good too although things go out of stock frequently. But in the end you do get what you pay for...

British surplus is quite difficult to find in the US. Shame because I need a new jacket where I used it for telescoping and love the big pockets and stuff. Sportsmanguide occasionally have good stuff at a time. I got a number of items from there from some webbing, great wool coats and they used to have good value on .303 British ammunation. You pretty much have to keep going back and checking.
US surplus is really common. Go search out one of the companies that deal in government surplus like SC Liquidation or so on. You won't find lots of the new gear but things like woodland and 3 coloured desert gear is really common. They even had some marpat they were selling and they had at one time alot of the goretex waterproofs for a really good price.
Usually these liquidation companies are near military bases since the military tend to sell things in massive lots most people can't handle.

Never really had that problem with them. I got a tracking number and everything. It came within the time stated by them.
I sometimes buy ammo from them and gear I work in down on the farm.
Its not my first choice but when they have a good deal I use 'em and the quality of their gear and ammo is no different than anyone else's.
