My friend says he knows how to operate the mineroller, how to maintain it, but he doesn't remember its name... Maybe nochri-something.

- I believe some of the Israeli's posting here were with the Shiryon. Were you happy being a tanker and would you choose to be a tanker above infantry if you had the choice?

- Could I request to go to Shiryon eventhough I have health-profile for infantry?

I'm really checking in, in how and when to join the IDF. All info. and personal stories about how you went thrue service would be greatly apreciated. If anyone has time, could someone PM me about it plz?

Does anyone have a picture of the weird modded tanks IDF uses for obeservation? (or maybe as apc or command, im not sure) -> I saw one of those on CNN, it has an armored box-like structure with little windowed viewports instead of a turret, with pointy bits sticking out, lots of antenaes and all that. I dont have a clue on a name or type.


Edit: nevermind on the box-tank, someone started a thread about it allready (i didnt come to read it yet cuz i clicked this first :)

Thanks for the links, Macabi. Nagmachon and Nakpadon... sounds rather jurrasic, but that suits the appearance imho.
