View Full Version : real steel M60E4 pictures

I'm looking for some good closeup pictures of an real steel M60E4 machinegun. I have a Top version, but they got a lot of details wrong (grip, no ejectionport, no markings ect.) I know INOKATSU has a great version of the E4, but they also hold back on some detail (grip). I checked the WGC website and saw that VFC is comming up with there version, and what I can tell from that one picture, it looks like the real deal (If it isn't one). I am making ajustments to my top version, because I want to be as authentic as possible. Therefore I'm looking for some closeup shots of the triggergroup housing, ejectionport, gunmarkings ect. of the real steel gun, preferably with some measurements if someone has them.
I hope somebody outhere can provide me with the ingredients that I need for some sweet home cooking!

H Tunershark,
Thanks for the reply.
I am familiar with that picture. I checked the internet for pictures and this is on one of the sites I found. Chesterfield armament also has pictures of some individual parts like the buffer yoke, feed tray ect. I really spend days checking google for links and hits ( What a Life?!..). I did find a few.( also some great closeups of a M240, maybe for a next project) But for now I'm looking for closeups of the triggergroup especially. I know blueprints of the gun circulate somewhere on the net. It would help for measurments! At this moment I have to calculate size and shape just thru pictures.
So if someone has the real thing, let me know, I book a flight, make a mold the s.o.a.b, then cast it in p.u to end up with a hardcore metal version.
I really have to get rid of all that fake plastic trash on that gun!...

What's up with everyone calling actual firearms "real steel"? Instead, you should just refer to it as the M60E4, and refer to your airsoft M60 as "fake plastic".

Why should one do this or why should one do that? Is that the question here?... I didn't refer to my airsoft m60 as "fake plastic". I refered to the fake plastic on my airsoft M60E4 and my desire to get rid of that to be replaced with "real" real steel! (oeps, that's twice) Make it more authentic....

I think what Hobo is trying to say is never to refer to use the term 'real steal' just make sure that whenever you are talking about an airsoft gun that you refer to them using their manufacturer name which clearly defines them as 'fake plastic'.

The VFC m60e4 looks so surreal which the police may mistaken it as real gun.

VFC got a lot's of original parts to design the MK43(including the stock ,bipod.handguard, trigger housing, rear sight etc ...And they using the real gun's blueprint to make the receiver...
