The batter's stance indicates he's going to hit the ball right back at the two jackasses by the tube. Anyone who has played baseball (all kinds of other sports too) knows that you toss the ball to the batter when he's facing the direction he wants to hit the ball (thus, from the side, not the front). Therefore, these are not Americans in this picture. ;)
