Then when you have both of those pieces of information, you can figure out the acceleration required to move the pin fast enough to have enough force to push the pin. Using this equasion you fan figure it out. F=MA Force(required)=Mass(of the pin) X Acceleration.
Now, when you have acceleration, you need to know how far the pin will need to travel in order to reach the primer. When you know this distance you can then find the Time required to move the pin to the primer. Using A = D/T^2 Acceleration = Distance / Time SQUARED. Using this equasion you can then find velocity. V=D/T Velocity = Distance / Time


This is all standard trig based physics. If you need help just PM me.
