If that's a HyperStealth pattern, its a pretty simple one...
Looks more like a variation of the "Punkttarn" pattern the Bundeswehr trialled in the late '70's.
Like the Galil's too!

No this is not a Hyperstealth pattern. I believe the Columbians came up with these on their own.

Deforestation is a bitch.

They're South African R4 rifles, not Galils. And Colombia has a semi-desert region along the north coast.
There was another, longer thread about these uniforms a few months ago. Try searching for it - there was a lot of good info there.

I think Colombia is a participant in the Multi National Force in the Sanai. The uniform would be appropriate for that area.

The South African R4 is basically a license-made Galil.

They're South African R4 rifles. Actually, they're Galils, the Colombians use both the 5.56 and 7.62 versions.

Correct. None of the "long barrel/no bipod" versions were made in South Africa.

As far as I know, the South Africans produced only two variations of the Galil - the R4 which is equivalent to the Galil ARM, and the R5 which is equivalent to the Galil SAR.

We also have a R6...like a Galil MAR. All in 5.56x45mm NATO
But in this case those are Galils, I don't think we export them.
