Forgive my ignorance but what do the patches mean on the mich and sleeves of the operators, ie the I-05, V-04, I-06.

Is their personal callsign. Pretty much everyone has the same look so the patches are to distinguish them from each other

we did something very similar in iraq with IR tape. SL and up wore a patch about the size of the american flag patch made of IR, with some pleather over it making cutouts of our callsigns.

They're not.

It's the forshortening caused by a zoom lens.

@ Brabo paraclete makes a complete rav assaulter kit in which all the back pouches are included, they also make a back panel with the flashbang pouches and med and general utility pouch? sewn on, which can be zipped to the zipper on the back of the rav.

I think the hip bag on the delta guy is from tactical tailor, they make something similar, could also be a pouch from the afore mentioned rav kit mounted on the belt with malice clips.

Anyone know why the operator with the oakley strap is using an aws medical leg rigg, corpsman / medic perhaps?

The guy getting out of the vehicle is playing OPFOR (Opposing Force). He's acting like a bad guy so the rest of the team can practice vehicle searches. One guy is opening the door and standing to the side, while the two top guys are coving him with their weapons.

As Brabo said...it's training.
