I don't know, but I use your thread to rant.

About the "Super Bowl".

Every year when they advertise the "Super Bowl" they say stuff along the lines "The final will be seen by 2/3 Billion people world wide !", and I just think that is sooo bull****.

I mean who besides the US is watching american football ?

I mean who besides the US is watching american football ?x2. Football (American) is too great of a sport to be watched by people outside of North America. It would be sensory overload for people entranced by 24 guys chasing a ball around a field for 90 mins with not-so-extraordinary results. Their heads would explode and then the US would be blamed for the deaths of billions. :(

pfft... that's not going to happen. we already know the aussies are heading further and further down hill, the AB's can’t wait to rip that cup from the poms.

I think we're on the way up, it's been uphill since that numpty eddie jones got the arse.
I don't think France deserves their #2 ranking, they haven't played enough against Southern hemisphere teams to warrant that and the Springboks and Wallabies are still a class behind, so it's there for the taking for the ABs.

If you allready miss Football than just start playing it yourself. I for example play 2 times a week in a amateur team and gonna play in a amateur cup in Bern next weekend (Ok, I gonna drink more than play but who cares!)

Obviously Basketball WC in Japan in August.
Spain has the one best team, probably only second to the US .

There are 6 players who are either playing in the NBA ,drafted years ago or will play next season: Gasol, Garbajosa, Calderon, Sergio Rodriguez, Fran Vazquez,"la bomba" Navarro. woot

And NO, my fav player is not Pau Gasol, is Garbajosa.

Baseball and American Football is sooooooooooooo boring. There is some action on the field for 10 seconds and then a break for 1-2 minutes packed with commercials. Ice Hockey and Basketball are entertaining though.
