Everyone is always saying "XXX" paper or news channel isn't credible blah blah blah. Which media outlets do you guys consider "credible" anyways?
My preferences:
-Wall Street Journal
-Bloomberg
-BBC
-The Economist
-Christian Science Monitor
news.google gives you pretty good compilation and from there you can compare different sources on the same story.
BBC
gazeta.ru
Economist
NPR
Daily Show with Jon Stewart :)
I watch Fox news for entertainment - too conservative to take them seriously, especially O'Reilly :)

I'm so sick of people linking Bill O'Reilley to Fox News' reporting. He is a commentator like Al Franken. That isn't news.

Sounds good, I use to like NPR.
I like Fox, MSNBC, Headline News, New York Post, and numerous others. I get the news where I can. I usually just go to foxnews.com to get most of my news.

-NPR (seems to be a common thread here). they're the ones getting the best scores for most accurate and complete reporting.
-the trio of comedy shows, daily show, colbert report, real time w/ bill maher. how sad is that? the best news analysis coming from comedy shows.
-yahoo news.

Well most are credible, some I find biased such as the AP's top stories seems to be pretty suspect at times.
Fox, MSNBC, CNN, etc. are all credible it is just a few shows that are curious. (CNN is not as bad as people say, but wow lou dobbs just does not hide his horrible bias and his is a NEWS program)
Also USA Today, NPR is the one that I find the most consistent and accurate, reuters is pretty good too. Christian Science Monitor I look at more for opinion articles since they are surprisingly neutral which is great.
BTW yahoo news is just the AP except with a few other stories seeded through reuters. And headline news is just CNN but, well, news headlines all the time.
EDIT: For opinion sources, aside from CSM I like CNN sometimes (pick and choose, larry king's 2 nights on North Korea for example were very informative), FOX News is just interesting to hear a conservative perspective and my favorite without a doubt is "The situation with tucker carlson", very neutral and he is excellent with arguments (give points, admits when he is wrong, etc...sort of like me :P ) and has different perspectives on, though too much of air america.

I guess the internet took over. I rather read more from first hand accounts, than a replay.

Long live the 'net!
The beauty of the 'net is it allows people of all nations (save China!) to
view news as reported from alternate sources other than their long
accepted local and national channels. I am partial to BBC reportage
but like to throw in a few articles from 'round the world from time to
time. Since I only read one language my sources are somewhat limited.
My daily jaunts take me to MSNBC, CNN, FOX, BBC on a regular basis.
I throw in Al-Jazeera from time to time for a different point of view.

No offense to the NPR listeners here (my wife is one too), but everytime I listen to NPR, I either fall asleep or wanna drill a hole in my head b/c of the droning monitone voices of the newscasters.
For me:
Google News
Fox News
CNN
USA Today
