Catch, is that soldier in your avatar holding a SPP? (TMP sorta)

Catch22
03-26-2004, 11:21 PM
Nope - first, its not a soldier but a friend of mine, security agent actually. He's holding Polish SMG - PM98 Glauberyt, 9mm para. Used mainly by security agencies and police. Its older wersion PM84 is used by military - issued to drivers, APC crews, RPG gunners. Helmet is the standard kevlar one wz.2000 used by our army.

Glauberyt:

A wild guess...

Jati-Matic Submachine Gun
BTW why barell is twisted upward?

The bolt recoils at an inclined plane which slows down the bolt and reduces muzzle flip. Makes it very controllable in full auto.

Piotrek

BTW why barell is twisted upward?

Well it is not :) - look at the signs they are parallel to the barrel but the bolt is not - it is moving slantly to the barrel..the grip is on the one axle with barrel so the gun is easy to control.
