9-ya rota subtitles

I got this movie on my computer and its only one file to play the whole movie and I have english subtitles but they are for cd 1 and cd 2. Does anyone know a way to combine them or somehow make them work seperately? I can play the subtitles for cd 1 up to the part, but the subtitles for cd 2 do not work after that part.

I downloaded the 2-CD movie off of mininova about 2 weeks ago, and it has no subtitles at all. My Russian isn't all that great anymore, but I understand enough.

I'd like to get a version with english subtitles....I've looked to buy a copy on DVD, but the regions are all PAL. Where did you get yours?

I ordered some DVD's from here before. They are out of Brooklyn, so most are NTSC, although some are PAL.

Thanks for the link...Seems they have the soundtrack but I dont see the DVD anywhere. I emailed them to ask, so hopefully they've got it somewhere.

BT if you have the 2 cd version all you have to do is download these english subtitles from this site http://subscene.com/63675/SubtitleFilm.aspx.

Once you have done that get this program called SubSync from http://users.pandora.be/vlad/subsync/. All you have to do is open the video and subtitles and it will have the subtitles below for you to read. It is easy to use.

I see what you mean about the subtitles not working after a few minutes into CD2 (where Volodya shoots Ahmed).

FYI...I received an email from the Russian DVD place, and they claim it has not been released anywhere with English subtitles....

I see English subtitle copies on Ebay but they are all in PAL. Never tried playing a PAL DVD on a Computer. I know for sure it won't work on American NTSC DVD Players.
