How do you aim with this Kind of grenades? Can you fire vthem with normal ammo or are blanks required?

How good is precision?

If I understood correctly you aim the gun line of sight a press the switch on the handgurd.A laser rangefinder translates the range to time wich is transmited to the grenade at the moment of firing so it detonates at the exact range of the target.Then you elevate the gun until you get a bip or/and a led turns on indicating the right angle. Squeze the trigger and pack your bags.The grenades can also fired in an option in wich they detonate on impact.I wasn't very intrested in this system so i didn't ask about it. If you like i can look into it.

Sounds great, in my opinion attached launchers make the weapon "uncomfortable". This is a real alternative solution.

And I want a micro Tavor in 9mm, now! :P

Yes.
The Standard Tavor isn't, and the Tavor Commander is the one issued to regular infantry units.
Its in service currently with Givati, Nahal, and Golani brigades, and the plan is to eventually equip all IDF infantry brigades with it.

The standard TAR-21 IS in use in the IDF with the grenade launcher version.The rest are CTAR-21's, even for DMR's.The Micro Tavor is being introduced to some units.

Lovely weapon, the Tavor, I've heard many good things about it. Certainly looks rugged enough & that can only be a good thing for a battle rifle. Accuracy would have to be at least fair to make a sniper version & it looks quite versatile too. The design seems to take some inspiration from the Steyr AUG which ain't a bad start in itself. Maybe if I'm a good boy all year round, Santa will bring me one?:)
