JSYK, I'm not white, so don't call me a racist. Found this on Youtube. Some of them are kids, no older than 12. :-(

They LOVE it!!
So this is what became of the freed slaves of America who wanted to form their own democratic country? I think some of the brothas in this country who wanna keep it real should visit Liberia for awhile and then see how cool it is to be a thug.

I believe the music is by a 'fellow' named Tiny Tim.

Interesting video...:|

Yeah, song is by Tiny Tim. "Livin in the Sunlight, 'Lovin in the Moonlight". It was featured in the first episode of Spongebob, I believe.

It's also been used as background music on a particularly ridiculous terrorist training video.

You don't have to be white to be a racist - racism knows no cultural nor racial borders. Being "ig'nant" though, is a trait exclusive to white people...

Use of music is distaseful - sad that some degenerates try to find entertainment in human suffering.

instead of watching it, hold the video scroll bar and gently scroll it so it plays like a slide show, its more shocking and moving to watch as you can take your time in absorbing the images of little kids with Assault rifles.

I guess I may be wrong here - but I don't think whoever made the video was trying to make fun of anything. It seems more likely the music was chosen to create a disparity between what you see and what you hear, making the images more repulsive...

Sort of a shame the video goes so fast through the pics.

I was commenting on the use of the music as the background to the attrocities - thus read the "Poor taste" comment. I have seen the photos and quite aware of the conflict.

Not sure how much "more" repulsive do you need these images to be? I personally get distracted from the real tragedy by other people's callousness to other people's suffering... It's a jingle, for god's sake!

Liberia and Rwanda - and no goofy music distraction.

Yea, that's pretty friggin funny. I remember now why Tiny Tim scared the living **** out of me when I saw him on the 13" black and white when I was a kid. :)

While it's easy to feel these crazy ****ers are less than human, they certainly aren't. As shameful as it is, that is humanity; a better uniform and a proper firing position doesn't make your life worth more than theirs. I'd personally like to round up all the makers of these crap vids and put them on burial detail or make them clean up the mess after these ****ers slaughter each other and each others families. See how funny it is picking up pieces of a little girl the same age as your daughter, whistle some goofy ass tune while you do that. Hilarious.

Interesting part of American history that ties into that place. Not a bad video if you put your own music on. Thanks Wolf.

The situation in Liberia has improved somewhat - this video is old, there has been a mass hand in of arms since the end of the civil war, free elections and a gradual improvement in living conditions. Things are far from perfect, there is no properly functioning electricity grid, and the povety is extreme, but, I hope given the UN assistance to the country, that it will not decend back into madness.
