Aaargh. I keep seeing these good streamed videos on the net. Is there some
program or something I can use to save them on my computer?

Hmhmhmh. Seven year old kids throwing stones on the Brits.

Unemployed that had been promised work I think. Especially those "looked
like 5 year old kids" :)

After watching that all I can say is that there are some idiots in Basra today who had better be thanking Allah for British "restraint".

Several of those guys were just asking to get lit up.

Yeah, 5 year old kids finding jobs.

Pisses me off that some of those Iraqis just see this sort of thing as a bit of fun or something.

I mean, if there aren't jobs to go around, how is demonstrating like this going to do out?

What are the rules of engagement concerning these riots?

man those iraqi's are a pain in the ass for the Brits :bash:

poor mates... i guess the brits need to call some "mistarevim" (israeli undercover police) to kick some serious butt in iraq ;)

when mistarevim doing thier job all the palastines just take thier shoes and run like forest gump rofl ... i saw videos and damn the brits should punch them harder like the mistarevim so they wont fight back..

If nooone was dead rofl , I now know where Brits send most of their football fans..It looked like quite good fun for both sides..I'm curious what teams they were rooting...

I think the troops need bigger sticks! I also reckon they were trying to give him the SA80, but he refused to take it, telling them it was crap.

I think the troops need bigger sticks! They need tasers, put 50,000 volts in them, and then I would like to see them throw rocks.

it looks like there weren't too many of them (troops). In Britain we're all used to the scenes of riots in Northern Ireland, but there they seemed to be tooled and mobbed up.

no offence here but the American's would have emptied there clips into those twats straight away. No, your wrong, American soldiers would not have emptied their clips into the Iraqis throwing rocks, possible shots here and there but not emptied clips.

Don't fret, i was only joking. Training aside, i think i would have found it pretty difficult as someone taught to fight not to tip the balance with a bit of automatic weapon fire. But that's why they're professionals and i'm an armchair spectator!

I dont know if these guys had riot training or not, but seeing as they were so few, they were doing a pritty good job, i can imagine that a well trained military (or police) riot group / platoon / whatever, would quickly have dissolved the groups.. Myes, im thinking about some swedish / finnish anti-riot tactics.. ;) Guess im abit evil after all..

let's do a quick poll here; would you let your kids go into the streets and throw stones at armed troops, even if they were 'invading foriegners'?
Look at the footage, some of those kids look like they're under 10 years old for fvck's sake. That's bad parenting!

The press point of view here seems to be that they were doing a difficult job under extreme provocation and performed with the utmost professionalism. Funny how the UK press never has similar points of view about the US handling of similar situations.

Did I see one guy ( Iraqi )getting carried away ? I heard gun shots , perhaps they shot one or two guys . I tip my hat to those guys for not opening up full scale . Like someone said earlier some of those Iraqis were just asking to get lit up . Lucky .
