The Shah was long gone when the Iran-Iraq War started and the Iran-Contra Deal was conducted with the theocrtic Iranian regime (in order to inssure the release of the U.S citizens kidnapped by Hizboallah).

The thing is that these TOWs are from the 2000s.

Iranian? Can't be anything they got even in the 80's from Reagen.

"Iran has begun to batch produce Russian-developed antitank missile 9M113 Konkurs (NATO designation: AT-5 Spandrel) on a mass scale.
This inexpensive missile can be launched autonomously or from mobile and portable anti-tank missile systems mounted on many types of vehicles, a military-industry official told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The missile Konkurs has been devised at the Tula-based instrument-making design bureau and has a range of fire from 75 meters to 4 kilometers in the daytime and up to 2.5 km at night. The missile warhead pierces armor up to 800 mm thick.
The Konkurs missile has a semi-automatic control system with the transmission of commands via the wire communication line.
A license for the production of the missile Konkurs was sold to Iran way back in the middle of the 1990s but it is only now that Iranian specialists have completed all work to try out the missile production technology and set up a quantity production line, the official emphasized.

umm have you ever considered the fact that children happen to live in that village and those kids might want to own a bb gun or a pellet gun to play with? Airsoft is not only a north american phenomenon. There are hunting rifles as well that are used for ... oh no HUNTING.

As for the TOW and other weapons they can be bought from the black market. There are arms dealers for reason.

Only ignorant fools would believe that Hezbollah hasn't got any decent weaponry... When the IDF troops get into direct action with the Hezbollah militia they obtain losses aswell as Hezbollah does. Of course are the IDF troops better trained, but don't ever do the common mistake of underestimating your foe...

I think the most concerning matter is the lack of respect for civilians as well as UN peacekeepers which the Israelies so obviosly has proven... Of course did Hezbollah start or escalate the conflict by sending rockets into northern Israel, but this doesn't justify the systematic extermination of the Libanese civilian population... Targetting military targets is strategic as well as morally correct since the Libanese governement is working closely together with Hezbollah. e.g. Hezbollah has 23 members of the Libanese parlament and to ministers in their government...

the IDF soldiers were probebly curious to see those small caliber weapons - maybe because they dont sell those is shops in Israeli (the fisrt time I ever saw such a gun was when I visited Poland as a teen).
My guess is that Hezbullah men use them for practice. cheap ammo, same results. IDF does the same thing with low caliber "mini rockets" when training soliders on shooting LAW rockets and shooting 20mm cannon rounds in the armored corps (few dollars a round instead of a hundreds of dollars per 120mm shell).

on battles they use AK47's and M16's.

most of their American equipment comes from the Lebenese army, which uses US gear. I wont be suprised if the TOW missles came from Lebanon's army. they started using it against the IDF in the middle-late 90's.
there's plenty of eastern equipment in this area of the world. during the days when Israel occupied the south Lebenese security belt with its christian SLA allies, Israeli soldiers could buy an AK47 whenever they wanted.

Also some precharged pneumatic-high powered Air Rifles with 0.50 caliber and high grain pellets could take down a soldier with a hit placed at the head/neck area
