yet another cheap copy of the US Land Warrior program.

Its a wonder why they dont just let us develope that and go on and do something else so that we can all share are different little goodies like good allies do.

But nooo, since they lack any imagination whatsoever, the Chinese, German, French and Aussie military industrial complex just copy like hell so that we all end up with different variations of the exact same thing.

Why do you think that Land/Air/Mounted Warrior is a better system than FELIN, Land-125 or IDZ ?..... SAW and M-240 are belgian weapons, XM-8 is a german weapon, Beretta M-92F is a italian weapon, AT-4 is a swedish weapon, LAV and Stryker are designed in Switzerland, Abrams was co-designed with germans in MBT-70 proyect... American military industrial complex doesn't work well forever.

Why you don't stop Warrior program and buy 200,000 FELIN systems?, probably it will be finished before than LW; or is better for General Electric and United Defense to sell to EU, Australia, Korea and Japan a million of Land Warrior systems?

I had heard that the LAND Warrior System was currently being field tested in very limited numbers by the 4th ID in Iraq. (if not the whole thing, at least components of the system)

Has anyone heard anything similar?
