well i just got the game and its awsome, but its pretty frikken hard though, a whole lot more controls than desert combat.
im working on the campaign at the moment, im at the part were your stranded in the forest, and everytime i move i get shot.
is anybody else here in the game?
or passed it, and would like to pass on some knowledge :)

also when i played single player and i tried flying the chopper, i cant make it climb into th air

to get the chopper in the air just keep pressing the 'Q' (i think) button

Hey, I got that game too, but I never got it working like everyone else's or something. It's laggy and the graphics are real bad, not as good as I see on peep's screen shots and stuff. My computer's decent though. It can run Raven Sheild so it should be able to run Flashpoint...

Best is to go forward, grab the LAW and binoculars from the bodies (preferable gear: M16, 4 mags, LAW, rockets), then go north to the north edge of the village, then go east, untill go get near a village (can't remember the name right now). Nail the BMP and a couple of soldiers, then just follow the road south. You might run into a T72, but 2 rockets on the turret should take care of that. Then you should just drive to the RP, and voila...

Do you mean the part where you are on your own on the edge of a clearing? Go to the bodies, take the weapons you want, look out to your right at about 2 o'clock and take out the soldier(s) approaching from the edge of the woodland. Then cross thru the woods carefully as you do so, making sure you're not caught out in the open.

Good luck, this game kicks ass. Wait til you get to the parts where you are a platoon commander, the grunts act like kids in a toy shop and get themselves wasted unless you tell them EXACTLY what to do!

thanks wulfstan, i checked the walkthroughs on the net, and they said NOT to pick up the stuff off the dead guys, because you'll get spotted. but i figured out how im gonna do it thanks guys

You can get away with getting the stuff, lie on the deck and take each soldier out in one or two round bursts, like the warrior you know you are! Plus you can take out the tanks later with the LAWs stolen from the fallen!

Put a **** load of mines underneeth, blow the ****er sky high, and it bounces like a rubber ball when it hits the ground. (we once took out a plane with a bouncing jeep, it was fubar.)

OP2 release? Dunno. I worked for Codemasters (the publishers) for a bit and no one seemed to know, or at least let me know about it! Supposedly it's set in the 1970's in Africa and other 3rd world settings. Should be good. I hope.

If it's the mission where Americans retreat from the island after the Battle of Montignac, just run and never stop.
You will first meet a patrol of 6-7 russians, take them out then go to the evacuation point by the beach, don't stay near roads.You will probably meet another patrol but there you can hide behind hills.
Then when you have to go to the new extraction point, use forest and only cross roads when you are sure it's clear of any BMP's.

Then when you have to go to the new extraction point, use forest and only cross roads when you are sure it's clear of any BMP's.

i am on 'AFTER MONTIGNAC' and when i ran towards Provins then i encounter the BMP and thats not cool, but when i ran away from provins and hide in the forest i found those 6-7 Russians, but their on a hill kinda, then i lay down and they didnt see me, then WHAP i got blown up some how, and no one was close to me, ,so next time ill do the same but take out the Russians wi'll im still concealed in the forest;)

That mission took me ages to complete. First time I finished it I found a wrecked up car which I used to drive to the evac point, second time I just legged it down the main road south towards Morton.

The next 2 missions of the campaign are pretty good. Some of the best in the campaign.

Have you got all the latest patches, make sure you do cos that makes a whole lotta difference, trust me. As to it looking good, some mods look better than others, mainly though, just play with the graphics options til they look good and perform well.

As Rat said OFP2 should be released late 2004, early 2005 ... I heard from someone in the know that the expected release date is late 2004, though this is of course "subject to change".

OFP for the XBox looks real good but then they've had a whole lot of time to improve on the original and when OFP2 comes out on the PC it's gonna kick ass.

They go to your clip board, from there you can paste them to say paint.

Here's a walkthrough:

Play OFP

Press print screen

Alt -tab yourself to windows desktop

Open paint (or fireworks, photoshop etc.)

In paint -> file -> new

Press ctrl + v or just edit -> paste

Save screenshot

Alt-tab back to flashpoint

Cycle


Or You can install a freeware program called grab clip save

You must go throug the forest and you arrive into a village, there you must tke a civilian car but pay attetion they will change the rendevouz point, and they will change it into another forest were you will be captured and all you camarads killed.Then you join Everon resistance.
Now i'm Lieutenant Amstrong(my second mission as an officer), and LT. Hammer and they guy os SF

No wonder you can't beat it...when your gamma is that low. Anyway, it shouldn't be so hard. There's a couple of guys in front of you at the start, but they shouldn't pose a problem. The only ones that might be a problem are the ones that are behind you in the forest. Best is to sneak off of them. Anyway, the way I described worked best for me; get the LAWs, then get the UAZ in the village.

Oh and MARINO; **** off with the spoilers man, you're wasting half the ****ing storyline for a first-time player.

Oh, and yeah; I'd say you better get used to ass-kicking on your own. p-)
