I am making a plea to the folks who start to infest nice threads with their stupid comments that lead to those threads being closed.I want to say to those folks that you guys need to grow up real quick.I have had it up to the wazzo with the imature non-sense going on in this forum.If you can't have a civil discussion then dont type for goodness sakes.There are some of you here that come with your "America is evil" BS, frankly i have had it.if you dont like the country then keep your feelings to yourself.ya'll need to shut the hell up.Some guys and they know themselves get good threads locked.And then u have the nerve to bad mouth argyll,well you need to have your attitude ajusted.Sometimes a few of the memebers argue like a bunch of pre-puberty,britney spears poster loving,freckle face 17 year olds.Please for the sake of keeping Militaryphotos.net a sane place,curb your BS and drop your immaturity and pre-conceived notions at the door.Thats all.

Hey look in my haste i made some generalizations,this non-sense has nothing to do with age but rather with some sort of fanatical belief of some members in their cause.I am ex-military and i joined because i wanted to exchange ideas and thoughts with other people both military or non-military but over the year there has been a sharp spike in the kinda of posts i call ejaculationary-reactionary posts.This site used to be way good in the past but lately i stoped posting because of the really dumb post some folks just put in here that have no reason to be on this site.I dont understand why the moderators have not banned more people,i would like to see them ban a lot of folks.Since this is a military forum then let us have some sort of order and when order is broken then there should be discipline.That Simple!

These comments really have gotten annoying. It seems like its only been since a few weeks ago that all these stupid comments have started showing up. I'm really get tired of this. I was posting on the topic about the Chechen War when it got hijacked by posters with stupid comments. It seems like Albanian only tries to cause flame wars.

As an european i haven't a short memory, i remember all the sad comments on France/germany! It wasn't comment about politicals way used by these countries but it was hatefull comments on french and germans!
I never used this way, as i always spoke about Bush gang not americans, but please don't play the victims now! If i didn't read all the thread, i never see the amount of hatefull comments on US than some of OUR americans friends said on France/ Germany.

Yes, there are a lot of anti-French feelings here in America. People seem to forget that the whole of a nation does not represent certain individuals.(Not saying France in whole is bad or anything :D ) Where I live an AMERICAN citizen, who happened to be of French ethnicity, who also owns a "French Cafe" here in town, was threatened with boycot when the whole "UN Iraq war resolution" crap was happening! It was absolutly unbelievable! The whole "freedom frie" thing was pretty childish also. I see my list of offenders are not all around any more, but new names still work to get themselves on. They all sit back and accuse one another of the most inhumane of crimes and preach the same treatment be returned. They fight over things that happened 50+ years to centuries ago. It is silly, yet they don't seem to see it. They all claim to know that atrocities were committed by all sides, yet they focus on what other sides have done wrong. What is thier goal? Is it to convince the world that one side is so inherently evil that it should be wiped from the earth? So far all the talk (of ethnic purity, victimisation, and the righteousness of murdering the oppressing ethnic groups) has only convinced me that several little Hitlers have found this web site. Is there not one that is mature enough to look to the future and talk of peaceful solutions?

How do we turn things around and stop this hateful pollution that has destroyed many promising threads? I don't have any good ideas. It looks like the rules have always been there. Are more needed?

4. Don't use racial slurs.

Maybe:6.5: Do not respond to flames
4: Racism, Bigotry, and cultural intolerance will not be accepted
4.1: Do not make posts that preach violence or hate
4.2: Don't use racial slurs.
4.3: Do not generalise identifiable cultural groups (including refering to such groups as sub-human, criminals, terrorists, etc)
4.4: Do not use discrimanitory humour
4.5: Do not test the boundries of rules #4
10: Do not post outside quotes without a link
Does any one have other ideas? Could Mods be given a power to suspend posting privileges for 24 hrs (during which time Hood can decide a permanent ban)?

Been lurking this forum for over a year. Only posted once my country was accused of only consisting of terrorists and nazi's and jew-haters, since a jewish citisen had an art in an museum (wich I have never visted or cared about, since most art is pretty boring). For me that is around those weeks (together with some threads with the chechnian-war and so on) I feel it exploded with hate here.
