I said it once, in singular you know. I meant more that I do not like the Albanian
menthality at all. As you probably know there live Albanians (for clarity, this includes
Albanians from Kosovo as well), in millions outside Albania, and well, a lot of them
(thousands) live in the town where I live, as well as many other people from
ex-Yugoslavia.

If I put it like this, Albanian and Swedish culture can´t be combined. My theory
is that since your state sucks, and always have sucked hard, Albanians are raised
to almost "clans", the family means a lot. There is also this business menthality
that doesn´t exist here, mafia menthality, "hey, the police can´t do anything,
so you can buy some protection from my mate, I have a Kalashnikov", also this
"business menthality" means that there is a Albanians mafia. Here they are the
ones responsibly for almost all that is smuggled in to the country. Our local
police here made a survey a couple of months ago, out of the 50 worst young
criminals here (that they know of), 37 were Albanians!! There were a lot of other
ex-Yugoslavs, and only one of them was a Swede.

There is a old joke here, "never run over a Albanian with a bicycle, because it´s
probably yours". Well yeah yeah, I know that you had rough times with Hoxha, Tito
and everything and that probably shows of in Albanians menthality, the thing I don´t
understand though is why we here up north have to suffer because of that.

Well, the Nordic countries is the less corrupt in the world to my knowledge.
It´s in poor corrupt countries mafia exists because the state is useless. There
the organized crime can offer protection to companies etc, because the police
can´t protect them. Southern Italy (which is economically not as rich as northern

No I have not been in Albania. And I don´t know a single Albanian if you mean
people that I invite to my home and meet regularly and talk **** too. However I
meet Albanians daily, well everywhere, in shops, on busses etc. I have worked
with a couple of them as well. As with all other nations there are a few good people,
a lot of normal people and some assholes, but I´m generalizing about the collective
now of course.

And well the things you have heard about Sweden, I don´t know if they sell
**** in our churches since I don´t go to church, but I doubt it. I doubt that Sweden
is the greatest user of drugs, not "the heavy" drugs atleast. For the light ones,
as marijuana etc they are more common in central Europe. Swedes drinks
booze rather than smoke marijuana. Here in my town there are Albanians that
smuggle booze from Germany full-time, it´s just to call them and they drive to
you with their BMW and sell it to you directly from their trunk. That´s the typical
"because the state is useless"-menthality I´m talking about. And yes, a serb

to almost "clans", the family means a lot. There is also this business menthality

so you can buy some protection from my mate, I have a Kalashnikov", also this
"business menthality" means that there is a Albanians mafia. Here they are the
ones responsibly for almost all that is smuggled in to the country. Our local
police here made a survey a couple of months ago, out of the 50 worst young
criminals here (that they know of), 37 were Albanians!! There were a lot of other
ex-Yugoslavs, and only one of them was a Swede.

There is a old joke here, "never run over a Albanian with a bicycle, because it´s
probably yours". Well yeah yeah, I know that you had rough times with Hoxha, Tito
and everything and that probably shows of in Albanians menthality, the thing I don´t
understand though is why we here up north have to suffer because of that.

There is a quiet Albanian community where I live, and they are all(in my town at least) very quiet respectful people. Which is saying a lot considering some minority's reputation. I have a very good friend I went to school with, who is Albanian, and is also one of the coolest bastards you would ever want to meet. I remember staying the night at his house and just hanging out over there, his family is great. Sure they are Muslim,(not that it matters to me) but they never tried to spread their believes on me. I am a Christian I have been a long time, they knew it, but they never once tried to convert me or even questioned my believes. Nor acted hostile toward me in any way. His mother used to make this little "bead type thing" for all his friends, I'm so happy I have had the oportunity to make these kind of friends.
As for the organized crime bit, you only have law enforcement to blame for that. There is almost no ethnic organized crime sydicates in America anymore.(the russian mafia is the most active although very underground) Law enforcement crushed the Italian mafia and other ones alike. The main reason for "ethnic" crime syndicates is due to rejection from the majority, which then creates "enclaves". A lot of the time these people are also poor, and think breaking the law is a "get rich quick" way to make ends meet. Once living conditions (in America) improved for the Irish Americans it drew them out of the "enclaves", and now making a living wage they had little reason to break the law. Soon after this the Irish mafia became a novel relic of the past, the only place it really existed was Boston, and that came to an end in the late 70's.
