If you take one of those mags and divde the ammo up into 10 mags, thats sort of what other european forces get to shoot at the range when deployed abroad...

Im no expert on the fiel, but have heard several stories about the subject of how much ammo different nationalities get to spend on the range when deployed..

All of the pictures that Goldman posted which show a sand berm in the background were taken at the CJSOTF-AP rifle range in the Radwanyia Palace Complex (RPC), just southwest of Baghdad Int'l Airport, in DEC of 03. This was the day a bunch of WWE folk spent the entire day visiting with the CJSOTF (5th Group folks) and then gave a wrestling show up on either Camp Slayer or Victory (durn I remember which one it was...)

Anyway, the show was videotaped for broadcast back home on TV... look at the pic of the big dude, BigShow or whatever his name is. The 240 he was shooting was a toy in his hands, and he was actually a pretty damn good shot with an M4. The blonde chick with the cammo britches is another of the wrestlers. She was tearing up some **** with the 240, but was pretty dangerous with everything else. The one in the black jacket stuck to only the pistol, IIRC.

Just wanting to end any speculation as to when / where these pics originated. December 03, Southwest Baghdad, and there is actually an even mix of SEALS and SF folk in the pics. Sorry, but no SF groupies or camp followers getting range time. These WWE folk got tours of the entire joint, spending almost all of their on-the-ground time with the SOF folk. And who said that wrestlers weren't too bright?
