Problem is that the words "mission accomplished" have a certain connotation that goes with them. I'm sure Bush did talk about how there is much left to do, like build schools, hold elections and such- or at least thats how I would take it. I think most people when they heard the speech and saw "mission accomplised" didn't think we'd still be very actively fighting a powerful insurgency and having car/suicide bombs go off daily.

But, he's dumb because this thing should have been wrapped up almost three years ago.

2) Did not demand an official "Declaration of War" from Congress as it was offered...that way he could have used the War Powers Act to imprison and shoot some of these fulking traitors.

3) Stood on the steps of a mosque and declared Islam to be a religon of peace...
